An August evening that nobody wanted to end
High summer at the lake, a long table, and a celebration that stretched from the ceremony to the small hours without anyone changing venue.
The day begins
August at Bled is warm well into the evening, so the schedule could stay outdoors longer than usual.
The vows
Family close enough to hear every word — the room was arranged around the couple rather than around the furniture.
Dinner and the toast
Dinner from our own kitchen, served in the hall a few metres from where the vows were said.
First dance, and after
The band, the floor and the rooms in one building. No last bus, no taxi queue at midnight.
